liblogfile-rotate-perl software package provides Perl module to rotate logfiles, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liblogfile-rotate-perl
liblogfile-rotate-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liblogfile-rotate-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liblogfile-rotate-perl *
You will get with liblogfile-rotate-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
